Event Details | ChatGPT Genesis Gallery is delighted to announce an open call for art for our upcoming exhibition, "Brushstrokes & Bookshelves: Where Art Meets Literature." We invite artists of all disciplines to submit their interpretations of the intersection between visual art and literature. "Brushstrokes & Bookshelves" aims to explore the rich symbiosis between these two creative realms, where words inspire images and images evoke stories. Artists are encouraged to draw inspiration from literature in all its forms – from classic novels and poetry to contemporary fiction and non-fiction – and translate it into captivating visual expressions. Submissions may take the form of paintings, drawings, illustrations, sculptures, mixed media works, or any other artistic medium that reflects the theme. Whether it's a literal interpretation of a beloved literary scene or a more abstract exploration of themes, characters, or emotions found in literature, we welcome diverse interpretations that showcase the dynamic interplay between art and storytelling. Selected artworks will be featured in a dynamic exhibition at Genesis Gallery, providing artists with the opportunity to showcase their work to a diverse audience of art enthusiasts and literary aficionados. In addition to the physical exhibition, selected artists will also be promoted through our gallery's online platforms and social media channels. |
