When Two Worlds Collide

When Two Worlds Collide is acrylic paint and book pages on a canvas. This painting represents the intersection of literature and the arts and how they both influence and inspire each other. The two hands one having a scroll and the other dripping paint represent the two different art forms. As they are reaching for each other the art forms they carry also interact with each other. The background being made up of both paint and book pages also supports this idea. I wanted to explore the theme of literature and arts both in the medium I chose and also the subject matter I depicted.
